Re-introducing…
Not having been able to be online from home in the last fortnight has made a scarily big difference – I never expected withdrawal symptoms like this!! Well ho hum, here we are in August, and if I were to say doesn’t time fly, or it seems to go more quickly the older you are, I’d scare myself by sounding like my parents, so I won’t. Then again, I will be a parent soon so maybe I can get away with such sayings now? Hmm, open to debate, answers on a postcard please. Anyway, I’m still not quite plumbed in and techied up at home, so am doing this quickly in Uplands Online (a fine establishment, not really too blatant a plug cos my instructions on how to do links are at home and I’m not) just to let you know that I’m (we’re) still here, alive, well, coping and all, but just bored by the usual computer probs, grrr.
What news? Ooh, excitement, Greenbelt “tickets” came in the post this morning 
I will treasure my purple wristband, and put it away in a safe place, but having said that my pregnant brain is so foggy knowing me I’ll forget where that safe place is and be scurrying around in a mad panic on the morning I’m trying to leave…. aaaagh, rather not think about it.
And for anyone interested in the painting thing – ta muchly for the tester pot patchwork suggestions, unfortunately I didn’t read them til after I’d painted the kitchen, which I did in an effort to dispel some unnecessarily upset and angry reactions to unhelpfulness on Friday night. I will bear the suggestion in mind for next time I have a decorating frenzy.
